Bishop Warren Anderson - The Man

Praise the Lord! I am Bishop Warren Anderson. First of all I just want to give all praise to God. God has really been good to me. I can truly say, in all aspects of the word, I am blessed. I have arrived at this place in my life trusting in God. I say this and I mean it. He brought me from a mighty long way. I didn’t come from a wealthy family, but we were close. If one had, everybody had. We all went to church. I grew up in church, but church wasn’t in me. I was young and, as they say, dumb, but at the age of 29 I accepted Christ in my life and I have never looked back. Today I am happily married to my wife Shelia. I have a beautiful family. I have 3 daughters, 1 son, 2 sons-in-law, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grands. And then I have god-children that my wife and I just adopted into our family. If you don’t know by now, family is important to me. I am also the Senior Pastor of Fountain Of Life Ministries, a church birthed through me by God in 2004. I have a wonderful & growing church family. People that love God. I sing with the praise team, “In The Spirit”.

In case you didn’t know, I love to sing. I sing all the time; in the line at the check out counter, in the library, and if I’m not singing I’m humming. In my spare time I like to do things with my family like going to the movies, the beach or cooking out. I love to fish and speaking of fishing, I’m over due. I’ve mastered the game of horseshoes and I bowl pretty well, too. But at the end of the day I find myself drawn to my recliner where I unwind from my day. I try not to get in it if I have any other plans. My recliner cancels out anything else planned for the day except sleep. I have a home studio where I play and write new songs and I spend a lot of time there.

I study the Word of God daily, sometimes for hours. I spend a lot of time reading, praying and talking to God, but I also spend a lot of time listening to Him. For as long as I can remember, my family and I pray together every morning when we rise and again before we go to bed. At the end of everyday I reflect on just how good God is. I praise God each and everyday and throughout the day and when the day is done, I still owe him praise. I’m excited about my future, my dreams, my destiny, and what God is doing in my life right now. I am truly blessed.
